Biitu becomes No 1

My dear friend Bittu, the parrot received the coveted award of "Devotees' choice as No 1 favorite Bird". This was an awesome event that say frenzied online poll, form filling and other assorted social media polls. Pranams to Most respected Appaji for this innovative approach to keep the public active and involved in the Shuvavana activities. In a glittering ceremony in the Nada Mantapa at SGS Ashrama, Mysore, on 14th December 2013, Bittu was chosen as the NO 1 bird of Shukavana by public. As Appaji was playing around with the announcement of No ! bird, Bittu was constantly chattering "Bittu Bittu". It was as if he knew he was the topper. What an amazing sequence.
