The city of Madrid, blanketed with a thick 50 centimeter layer of white snow for the first time in half a century responded in a way which some wouldn't expect: by taking to the empty Madrid streets to ski, snowboard, build snowmen, and drink beer. Now, Madrid braces itself for record low temperatures, possibly reaching -10ºC, which only has happened once in the last 100 years.
The transportation network and airport have been completely paralyzed and are currently not functioning. As such, Adventure Elliot does what he does best by taking you around the city from Carabanchel to Central Madrid (Atocha, Puerta del Sol, Gran vía) to some of the iconic sites where traffic ceased to exist to show you the scenery. I also speak with several Madrilenian people and get their reactions to the massive and historical storm. Now, the city will also have to brace for record cold temperatures and the difficult removal process of the snow from the streets and sidewalks.

La ciudad de Madrid, cubierta por una gruesa capa de nieve blanca de 50 centímetros por primera vez en medio siglo, respondió de una manera que algunos no esperarían: Llevando a las calles vacías de Madrid para esquiar, hacer snowboard, construir muñecos de nieve y beber cerveza. Ahora, Madrid se mantiene a temperaturas bajas récord, posiblemente llegando a -10ºC, lo que solo ha ocurrido una vez en los últimos 100 años. La red de transporte y el aeropuerto han quedado completamente paralizados y actualmente no funcionan. Como tal, Adventure Elliot hace lo que mejor hace al llevarte por la ciudad de Carabanchel al centro de Madrid (Atocha, Puerta del Sol, Gran vía) a algunos de los sitios icónicos donde el tráfico dejó de existir para mostrarte el paisaje. También hablo con varios madrileños y tengo sus reacciones ante la tormenta masiva e histórica. Ahora mismo, la ciudad también tendrá que prepararse para registrar temperaturas frías y el difícil proceso de eliminación de la nieve de las calles y aceras.
