Additionally, the summers can be oppressively hot. There's a great mountain range to the north of the city of Madrid called the Sierra de Guadarrama. Cercedilla is a smaller city nestled into the mountains of the Sierra Guadarrama and It's a great place to escape the heat and get back into nature. I show you why in this video.
