Russia's Putin hails Soviet role in WWII at military parade

Delayed more than a month by the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has staged Victory Day military parades to commemorate the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.
And for President Vladimir Putin, the patriotic displays represented much more than a chance to remember past sacrifices.
