Waterproofing Curbless Shower --- New Flo FX Membrane!!!

Tile showers that have a curbless or barrier free entrance need to have the waterproofing extended out 12" past the threahold of the shower. In my opinion, sheet membrane is better than liquid applied membrane in shower pans for a three reasons:
1.) You do not need to wait for the mortar bed to dry before applying. It can take up to a week to for a mortar bed to fully dry before you can apply liquid membrane.
2.) You do not need to worry about correct rate of application or thickness of sheet membranes.
3.) You can tile over them immediatley and don't need to wait for the 2 coats of liquid to dry.
