CalRailFans Camp-out : Troy July 6-7, 2013

Two days camping next to tunnel 40 up at Troy with fellow CalRailFan foamers. UP had just laid new rail and concrete ties on track one, so track 2 was in much more use at the time. Great number of trains including my favorite the late KLTG2 running Saturday in 2X1X2 configuration. Highlights: on Sunday morning we first had a nice work train roll down hill, then an empty grainer stopped in front of us due to a problematic signal. The slack slam between the lead locos and DPU was insane! To hear the sound from left to right and then right to left was pretty intense. My apologies to my scanner low battery beeping and one of my cameras was set on manual focus, so one angle for a few trains is a bit fuzzy.
