What is a Pre-Trial Conference?

In New York State the criminal process of a how a case progresses can be confusing at times. Knowing what happens (or is supposed to happen) at each and every stage can be comforting. Stage one is called the initial appearance (arraignment) but stage two is called the PTC (pre-trial conference).

This video explains what a Pre-trial conference is, what happens there, who is usually present, what are it's goals, and how all this fits into moving your matter to a resolution.
