0:00 #1: Introduction
- Who am I and what to expect from this video?

2:04 Subscriber doesn't matter!
- The only numbers that matter to me are not subscribers! Let's talk about number of videos and watch time? How many videos have your favorite YouTubers posted?

3:41 #2: Excuses
- What if you're a perfectionist editor or YouTube is too saturated with your type of content or I'm not creative enough or the gear is expensive? I am going to easily explain why these excuses are not real obstacles.

11:29 #3: Brand vs personality?
- What do you want to be? Do you want to be a brand or a personality on YouTube?

12:16 #4: Finding your why
- from the Simon Sinek video: https://youtu.be/u4ZoJKF_VuA
- to one of my favorite concepts in the book Ikigai: https://amzn.to/3cKaTBc

13:11 #5: Finding your niche
First let's go through this list of most popular niches or types of videos:
- 5.1 Product Review videos / unboxing
- 5.2 How-to educational videos
- 5.3 Vlogs
- 5.4 Gaming videos
- 5.5 Comedy or skit videos
- 5.6 Shopping haul videos
- 5.7 Favorites or best of videos

17:23 #5.8: How to find your niche?
- 1. Make a long list of everything you like and would easily talk about for hours.
- 2. Ask friends what they think your strengths are
- 3. Research what videos exist on YT and where you can add value

18:25 #6: Camera gear
- What do I shoot on and why does it not really matter? I would much rather you start on a cheap setup like a phone and cheap mic to start to make sure you enjoy this and don't waste money!

18:45: #7: My process
I will go over my 5 step process for creating a video from start to finish:
- 1. SEO research
- 2. Script bullets (avoid reading a script word for word)
- 3. Film
- 4. Back up
- 5. Edit

22:43 #8: 3 Planning mistakes to avoid
1. No hook:
- the importance of the first 30 seconds
- Hook can be a blooper or an exciting action moment before rewinding back
2. No story
- Drone or travel montage with no story
- Vlog of a day still needs an arch of a story beginning, middle end
3. No SEO
- Title
- Description
- Tags
- Use tools like TubeBuddy
- GO BACK AND REOPTIMIZE all SEO as often as possible

25:08 #9: 8 Shooting tips
- My original article: https://thetravelwomen.com/blog/top-11-travel-video-shooting-mistakes/

Here are 8 of my favorite tips:
1. Composition: frame each shot as a photograph
2. 10 second rule: Hold the camera steady or on a tripod on a subject for 10 seconds
3. 3 times: Record saying something 3 times or more
4. Move slowly: Don’t keep moving the camera too fast
5. Bad audio will ruin a video: invest in a microphone even an inexpensive one is worth it
6. Lighting: avoid harsh shadows at noon
7. Clean your lens: every time you turn on your camera
8. Zoom: Digital zoom is not as good as optical zoom

31:00 #10: 6 Editing tips

1. Editing should improve your video not take over your video
2. Edit to the music
3. Watch the level of the music not too loud
4. Avoid sensitive info (address on a box or letter
5. Text goes a long way
6. Have fun with the edit

33:33 #11: Branding
Branding is not do it half way and forget about it forever, this is something that successful YouTubers are always thinking about and updating at least every year!
1. Banner image examples
2. Thumbnail examples and types that do well
3. Channel trailer or intro video: for your channel if you have no clips an introduction of what's to come or if you have a bunch of example videos edit them in a trailer style video like my yearly videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLv1Ysc5MG7_TvM5RE1DxwUdN1bgz1H_tx
