Israel-Hamas war intensifying the risk of drawing a US-Russia conflict
Sky News host James Morrow says the tensions from the Israel-Hamas conflict are intensifying the risk for terrorist attacks abroad and an escalated regional war that could draw the US and Russia into conflict.
Mr Morrow’s comments come after Israel vowed to annihilate Hamas after it launched a land, air and sea assault on October 7, indiscriminately killing more than 1,400 people and kidnapping others.
“We’ve seen Israel hit back somewhat against Gaza ahead of what is expected to be a full-scale invasion,” Mr Morrow said.
“We’ve also seen Hamas lie that the Israelis blew up one of their hospitals to garnish sympathy in the world media.
“We’ve also seen demonstrations around the world.”
