However, it was never a true VoIP service. Starting in 2019, Google Voice has officially rolled out their Wi-Fi calling feature. This will basically allow users to make phone calls over the Internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data. In this video, Simon will show you how to setup true Wi-Fi calling in Google Voice.
