This song has such a wonderfully positive feel to it, I can't help but feel happy while listening to it! This arrangement was actually a school project of mine for my class at Berklee called "Advanced Ensemble Writing". The project was to arrange a song for a 5 horn band + rhythm section + vocals, and I decided this song would fit that challenge very well! I don't think I've ever worked with this many vocalists together in a non-choral fashion, so this was definitely a challenge for me in terms of writing and mixing. However, after several months of on and off production, I'm elated to finally be releasing this!

I haven't personally played Sonic R, but from what I can tell and from what I've heard from friends, the music is by far the best part. The controls do seem a little clunky and unresponsive, but how can you pay attention to that when every single racetrack has a cool poppy vocal song to go with it? Great design choice.

Lastly, I could not have done this with the help of all my wonderful collaborators. Most of them don't have YouTube channels, but I've linked a few social media pages of people for those that have them. In case you like their performances, I encourage you to follow them in the future! We're all students at the Berklee College of Music, and most of these people are sure to do great things in the future.
