My sister recently discovered "liquid tiles" while at a museum with my nephew, and they both really enjoyed them. My sister wants some for her beach-themed bathroom floor since the blue color tiles look like the ocean. So these tiles can have an elegant look and be good for adults, as well as something that's fun for a child's playroom.

After hearing all about how amazing the museum tiles were, I looked up "liquid tiles" online and found these Playlearn tiles. The tiles do indeed have liquid inside, it is not a gel, so they react even to gravity if turned on their side. The top surface is subtly textured to make them non-slip and feels soft, not slick. The bottoms have no-skid padding, so they won't slide around or damage your floors.

The tiles do have a slight amount of flex, and you can feel a bit of give when stepping on them, although it's not a squishy feeling. According to the seller " Each Playlearn Liquid Tile is pressure tested with 32tons of direct heavy pressure for 8 hours to ensure a 100% safe experience." They can easily handle the weight of multiple adults jumping on them. They are also puncture tested, and they certainly seem scratch resistant based on my nephew and pets playing with them and they still look brand new. And they are "Tested and certified for children’s safety."

I do not have a specific temperature range, but they are supposedly "safe in all standard temperatures." They should be fine for all indoor use.

They are surprisingly responsive to being stepped on. My 2-year-old nephew has a lot of fun playing on them. He can use his hands and get some reaction; he doesn't have to jump on them for the liquid to move. They even work for my cats who are only about 7 and 10 pounds.

We are all having great fun with them so far.
