Schools mark Singapore's 55th birthday ahead of National Day

On Aug 7, schools across Singapore marked National Day in a slightly different way as the COVID-19 pandemic took its toll on celebrations. In his first National Day message as Education Minister, Mr Lawrence Wong said their compliance with measures like wearing masks and safe distancing have been key aspects of the community's fight against the coronavirus.
