Creamed Spinach: The History of Lawry's Prime Rib? What's the Original Recipe for Their Famous Dish?

2 Pkgs (10 oz) Chopped, Frozen Spinach (Thawed & Drained)
6 Slices Bacon, Finely Chopped
1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped
2 TBS Flour
1 TSP Seasoned Salt (I use Lawry's)
1 TSP Pepper
2 TSP Garlic, Chopped
1 Cup Whole Milk
1 Cup Half & Half

Fry bacon in saucepan until cooked through (not crispy). Add onion, cook until tender, add garlic, cook about 2 minutes more. Remove from heat and add flour, salt and pepper. Blend thoroughly. Add both milks and combine well. Return to medium heat. Add spinach, break up into cream sauce. Cook 3-4 minutes until heated thoroughly.
