Steps to fix your device:
1. Unscrew the two small screws on the headband jack assembly with a T1 screwdriver and set them aside.
2. Gently open the assembly to reveal two more screws.
3. Unscrew the two additional screws inside, noting they may be different lengths.
4. Carefully lift and remove the old ribbon jack from its bracket.
5. Take the new ribbon jack and remove any protective layer from the adhesive film.
6. Insert the new jack, aligning the small nub with the corresponding hole in the ribbon.
7. Place the jack back into the bracket, ensuring it faces the correct direction to avoid ribbon damage.
8. Screw in the two inner screws to secure the jack, avoiding over-tightening.
9. Place the bracket back, ensuring the bend is closed off.
10. Fasten the first two screws to complete the assembly.
11. Get back to jamming out 🎵
