Step-by-Step Apple Watch Series 9 Screen Replacement Guide:
1️⃣ Heat the screen with a heat gun set to 190°C (374°F) until the edges are warm.
2️⃣ Insert a thin pry tool dipped in 99% isopropyl alcohol into the edge between the screen and frame.
3️⃣ Loosen the adhesive by rocking the pry tool back and forth around the edge.
4️⃣ Lift the screen carefully by inserting the pry tool and gently bending it upwards. Repeat around the screen edges until it pops up.
5️⃣ Be cautious not to lift the screen too quickly to avoid damaging the ribbon cables.
6️⃣ Unplug the ribbon cables once the screen is detached.
7️⃣ Clean the old adhesive from the frame using a flathead tool and rubbing alcohol.
8️⃣ Reconnect the ribbon cables to the new screen and press them securely.
9️⃣ Test the screen for visual and touch functionality.
🔟 Apply a thin line of cold press glue around the edge of the housing.
1️⃣1️⃣ Press the screen into place, wipe off excess adhesive with a rag and isopropyl alcohol, and clamp or wrap the watch in a rubber band.
