3 Warren DeMartini Licks From 1991

Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Warren DeMartini Licks From 1991. As I mentioned in this video, the first Three-For-All lesson using the current flow/format was a Warren DeMartini lesson I created two years ago. I realized the flow/format for the Three-For-All series when I created that DeMartini video and the overall direction for all of the lessons that have followed that episode.

This lesson features some great ideas from a live bootleg from 1991 when Michael Schenker was filling-in for Robbin Crosby during Ratt's 'Detonator' tour. The footage is raw and was honestly a little hard to transcribe from, as the old VHS-to-digital audio was a little garbled, but it was clear enough to make out these tasty ideas.

There are some really cool ideas in this lesson, but of course they're slick licks - it's Warren DeMartini. The ideas range from smooth Dorian-based ideas to a slick slip-n-slide shifting idea, and rolling pull-off phrase, and much more!

It was interesting to watch the entire concert of Michael Schenker playing with Ratt and while he was certainly holding his own and filling Robbin's shoes, Warren was simply on fire and strutting around the stage pulling out one great solo after another. The footage was raw, sweaty, and rockin' - so there are some great ideas shared here to keep your fingers busy for a while.
