I Had to Fix My Drawers in my Winnebago View

My 3 soft close drawers in the kitchen never opened/closed smoothly from day 1. I had the dealer do the repair at the beginning under warranty, but the repair was not any better than the original problem. Looking back at it, a typical RV repair technician is probably not the best suited for adjusting cabinets. I discovered that the soft close drawer guides did not function correctly when I tested them on the bench. I replaced the drawer guides with a different brand than the original.

This is the product I used. There are many different brands out there, so use your own judgment on what will work for you. I did try the ones from Home Depot, but discovered that the soft close function was not strong enough, and the drawers would open too easily.

Exact ones I used. These are 100 pounds. If you want more holding force (so the drawer is tougher to open), you may want to go with a heavier guide.
