How to Merge HDR Photos in Lightroom Classic

HDR, or High Dynamic Range, is a technique that allows you to achieve a much higher range of brights and darks in your image than would be possible with a single shot. This is commonly used for sunset and sunrise photography, where the foreground may be substantially darker than the sky.

Most cameras have a built-in HDR option that allows for shooting in the field, but you'll still need to combine the images in post-processing. Lightroom Classic provides an easy way to do this by selecting the images and then going to Photo — Photo Merge — HDR. In this video, you'll learn the best way to do HDR blending in Lightroom Classic.
