La Mesa: Felon Still Outstanding After Pursuit 11262020

The Police spotted a white truck was swerving while being driven. The truck also did not have any license plates. They pulled the driver over and when they found that the ma;e driver was wanted on a felony warrant, he fled in the truck.

The pursuit ended on Brier Rd and the suspect then fled on foot into the residential area. He dropped a backpack and his hat and then fled into a canyon area. A helicopter was requested to aid in the search, but could not fly due to heavy fog. A K-9 from National City attempted to track the suspect, but he was not found. The truck came back as being stolen.
