And finally, flight video. The weather was so bad last couple of months that I just couldn't find 2 nice days for filming. The spring is here now and good weather with it. Enjoy the final video in this build series - Tarot FY680 - Flight Test.
Also, if you are wondering, I was bored during that time so I've installed remotely controlled LED's on the craft. There are 6 LED's, 3 W each. Four white ones and 2 red ones (on front arms). They are remotely controlled via Turnigy Remote Control Switch. Unfortunately, there won't be a video about this setup.
Relevant information:
Hexacopter weight: 2.500 g (with LED's)
Batteries used: Turnigy Nanotech 4.000 mAh, 4S 25-50 C (2 in parallel for total of 8.000 mAh)
Batteries weight: 860 g
AUW (All Up Weight): 3.360 g
Flight Time: 15:00 min
Optimal/Recommended Load: 1.000 g
AUW: 4.360 g
Flight Time: 10:00 min
Maximum Load: 2.000 g - very unstable, batteries are warm and puffed - NOT RECOMENDED
AUW: 5.360 g
Flight Time: 7:00 min
Additional Information:
