Make A Copy Negative

In this video, I needed to increase the contrast in one of my prints beyond what a #5 filter can produce. High contrast developers and negative intensification aren’t enough, so I decided to make a high contrast copy negative on ortho lith film.

This film is sensitive only to blue light, so a bright red safelight may be used. It is developed in paper developer, with contrast being controlled by the dilution of the developer. A stronger dilution will have more contrast than a weak one.
