The salted paper process was developed in the 1800s and is one of the earliest printing techniques.
It is relatively simple once you have all the necessary equipment.
It will take some time to get the prints right so be patient.
I just started this process but I thought you guys might enjoy it as well.

Materials needed:

Sodium chloride https://amzn.to/3ohY8E9
Silver Nitrate https://amzn.to/3H9tuVM
Sodium thiosulfate https://amzn.to/3H6AWRS
Distilled Water
Art Paper https://amzn.to/3o7j0Oc

Also:
Printing frame
Gloves
Cotton
Hair dryer (optional)

The recipes for the solutions are:

Salt solution:

500 mL of distilled water
10 grams of sodium chloride
Mix until completely dissolved.

Silver solution:

100 mL of distilled water
10 grams silver nitrate
Mix until completely dissolved

Fixer:

1000 mL of distilled water
200 grams sodium thiosulfate
Mix until completely dissolved

Also one tip: if you’re using a cotton ball and you double dip into the solution you pour out, you CANNOT pour the leftover solution back into the bottle. If you want to preserve the silver solution I recommend using a new cotton ball every time you dip into the solution. Otherwise you’ll contaminate the solution with salt after you coat the paper and the solution will be ruined.
