DUTERTE IN ICC: After being postponed for months, the International Criminal Court begins the 4-day confirmation of charges hearing against former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, February 23. The hearing is part of the ICC’s pre-trial stage where the chamber decides whether there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial. Duterte was arrested in March 2025 for alleged crimes against humanity in his brutal drug war.
