Trailmanor: Microwave Electrical Receptacle Modification

In our Trailmanor we sit our little microwave on top of the removeable drawer unit. The problem is getting the drawer unit back in after the microwave (or anything else) is plugged into the receptacle.

Basically we removed the receptacle and swapped ends with it. To get a little extra slack in the wire, you may have to remove a wire clip that is screwed to the cabinet underneath. Then use the adapter plug I show and your problems are solved. Without swapping ends (turning it around) on the receptacle the pigtail I am showing will be pointed outward instead of towards the wall. We tried it that way but was not happy with the result. Turning the receptacle around is the trick!
