1 Year Mindfulness Meditation Every Day | It's not what I expected.

I meditated each day for the past year. Mindfulness was the type of meditation I choose and my original goal is to be able to stay focused at work for longer periods of time.

I set a challenge to meditate every day for a year and here are the results:
- Better mental focus and concentration;
- Increased productivity;
- I learned to access the "Zone" on-demand;
- Avoiding negative thinking;
- I ended phone addiction;
- And I fell asleep bunch of times during meditation.

My meditation routine:
1. Do it early in the morning when there are less distractions.
2. Open 10 or 15 min session of guided meditation. (I am using Headspace).
3. Use the time right after meditating to focus on the most crucial task of the day.
4. Remind myself during the day about each distraction I face and try to avoid it.
5. Become as productive as hell!
