JF-17 Thunder Block 3 is Offered to Serbia | Why Serbian Air Force is interested into JF-17 Thunder

Many countries have shown interest in buying the 3rd block of the JF 17 thunder aircraft. after a successful induction into Myanmar air force and Nigerian air force, now JF 17 Thunder is offered to Serbia.

The Serbian air force, left with just a handful of operational planes after wars in the 1990s, wants to buy a dozen aircraft to stable its air force power. The JF-17 Thunder Block-3 is expected to roll out soon in services to Pakistan Air Force.

The upgrades of JF 17 thunder block 3, under the Chinese dome, have taken the fighter jet to new heights. JF-17, already a formidable weapon, provides an impenetrable defense line to Pakistan.

The JF-17 Block 3 prototype recently conducted a successful test flight, along with PL-10 E short-range air to air missile.
Following major upgrades to equip it with the best information warfare capabilities and weapons. The JF-17 block 3 is anticipated to revolutionize Pakistan’s air combat abilities with an edge over India’s existing combat fleet.
► Briefing on Serbia’s defence budget given to foreign military representatives

A briefing was given to foreign military representatives accredited to Serbia on Serbia’s 2021 defence budget. The briefing, organized by the Budget and Finance Sector and the International Military Cooperation Department, Defence Policy Sector.

In her opening remarks, Assistant Minister for Budget and Finance Katarina Pavičić pointed out the fact that the defence budget had been increased compared to the previous year, primarily to improve the service members’ standard of living and better equip the armed forces, which was in line with Serbia’s policy of military neutrality.

Colonel Milan Milunović, Head of the Budget Department, presented the structure of the 2021 defence budget to foreign military representatives, referring to the starting points and guidelines for the budget preparation and drafting, as well as the program structure of the defence budget.
► The Military Attorney Office:

The Military Attorney's Office is a separate unit of the Ministry of Defence that performs tasks related to: the protection of property rights and interests of the Republic of Serbia in respect of the assets and property used by the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, taking legal action and remedies which are used in the process of representation before the courts and other state authorities in all stages of the proceedings; activities that precede the conduct of the proceedings; providing legal opinions on the models or drafts of legal affairs that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces conclude with other legal entities and the initiation of proceedings for the review of the constitutionality and legality of regulations and general acts.

Within the Military Attorney's Office, the following internal units are formed:

1) Department for Damages;
2) Department for Immovable Property;
3) Department in Nis;
4) The Office;
5) The Security Service.
