D70 Printer Cutter Cleaning Tutorial

How to Clean the Cutter of your Mitsubishi CP-D70DW Compact Digital Color Dye-Sublimation Thermal Photo Printer.

Sometimes, your printer can get jammed because there are small paper strips caught in the cutter. Here's how to take apart your printer and clear those pieces of paper out.

1. Remove the paper catcher.
2. Open up printer and unscrew the top screw.
3. Open up the paper tray.
4. Remove the screw holding the gear case, then remove the case on both sides.
5. Remove the two screws holding the front plate of the printer.
6. Remove the front printer plate.
7. Remove the safety plate of the printer blade.
8. Clear out any paper strips safely.
9. Reverse the above steps to put your printer back together.
