Can't change gears, clutch is not working, first thing to look for. (Honda accord 1993)
UPDATE http://youtu.be/uAkTX_WmuWQ
So like a week ago I had major problems with mt car's clutch.
Everything started in the morning, day before that everything worked fine, so in the very next morning when I started car I found out that I can't change gears. Later on I found out that if car is turned off I can easily change gears, but while it is running, I just can't do anything.
So after then I also found out that I can actually start my car in gear, but well I thought that I am going to ruin my engine and gear box if I will so I didn't try it. After some research I found out that well there is a chance that your clutch hydraulic fluid level my cause that as well and well when I checked it I found that I was almost out of it. So I bought dot4 brake fluid and I filled with it till max level clutch hydraulic system and well then I pressed many many times clutch and after all it started slowly but happily working. In very next morning my car ran as it used to run, and well I didn't have any problems with clutch again. In beginning I thought I will have to spend around $200 just for parts to repair it , but well to fix it I actually spent $5 for brake fluid.
I just wanted to add that I found place where clutch fluid has leaked, just look around clutch pedal and well if you see there some oily fluid, well then your clutch is leaking, it is not very hard fix, but well in my case it has leaked just once and well now my oil level is same for days and well no new leaks around clutch pedal, so I guess I will not have to do anything to solve that at least right now.
As well I found an air bleeding screw, in my case I really don't see a point for bleeding system since my clutch now is working fine, but well if you want to do it, then just look for a clutch slave cylinder.
I am sorry for video quality I didn't notice that I am filming in 480p not 720p, but well it is not that bad overall any way, filmed with Nikon D3100
