इसका सरल जवाब है की हा, आप 40s में आपके खुद के eggs से प्रेग्नेंट हो सकते है। ऐसे काफी महिलाएं है जिन्होंने 40 उम्र के बाद concieve किया है।
जब आपकी उम्र 40 से ज्यादा होती है तो बस एक ही बात फर्टिलिटी के बिच आ सकती है वो है आपका reproductive age ( Period जिसमे menses चालू होते है और menopause होता है। ) India में average देखा जाये तो menses 13 की उम्र से चालू होते है और ५० की उम्र तक menopause होता है। 13 उम्र से 50 उम्र तक आपका reproductive age रहता है। मतलब अगर आप 40 उम्र में pregnancy plan कर रहे हो तो आप menopause के नजदीक होते है।

40 के बाद कोनसी चीजों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए आपको प्रेगनेंसी के लिए ?
१- आपको AMH टेस्ट करवाना है। ये टेस्ट आपको बताएगा की आपका egg का reserve कितना है।
२- दो चीजे जिसमे थोड़ी रिस्क है वो है abortion और दूसरा है Chromosomal problems बच्चो में हो सकता है।
३ - 40 और ऊपर की उम्र में IVF से प्रेग्नेंट होने के chances 15 % होते है। इसका मतलब आपको IVF २,३,४ बार भी करने की जरूरत पड सकती है।
