GROWER STORIES EP. 12 | Olson's Greenhouse of Colorado

Welcome to episode 12 of BioTherm's Grower Stories series! This month, we're featuring a longtime customer, Olson's Greenhouse of Colorado. Olson's has a lineup of BioTherm heating systems in their greenhouses, including DuoFin under-bench heating and StarFin gutter heating for snowmelt.

Olson's original heat source was steam boilers, which were running at about 45% efficiency. They decided to upgrade to Raypak low-mass boilers, which can run up to 99% efficiency. Now, both fin pipe systems are powered by Raypak low-mass boilers.

By upgrading to low-mass boilers, they were able to save on gas, and equipment downtime, and is overall a much more reliable system.
