In episode 2 of Shop Stories, Jim stops by BioTherm HQ to check in on the newly finished CO2 Enrichment system that we discussed last time. Oscar just put the finishing touches on the packaged CO2 system and it's ready to be sent to our customer!
WHY CO2 IS IMPORTANT:
CO2 enrichment decreases the oxygen inhibition of photosynthesis and increases the net photosynthesis in plants. This is the basis for increased growth rates caused by CO2 at low as well as at high light levels. Elevated CO2 concentrations also increase the optimal temperature for growth.
CO2 levels are naturally low in a greenhouse environment as plants use available CO2 as part of the photosynthetic process.
HOW BIOTHERM CAN HELP:
