In her first-ever TED Talk, Mia Ma shares her own experiences on the “vehicle of persistence” and how music has shaped her to be the person she is today. She recently began to question a habit of hers: learning every single instrument she could, yet not practicing a single one of them. In her speech, she’ll be sharing her own experiences with her lack of persistence in learning instruments, and what she eventually came to learn from this habit. Mia Ma is a ninth-grader from Beijing, China. She identifies as a music enthusiast, and someone who can’t say no to new opportunities.
