First Beach Scene - Acrylic Pouring - Fluid Painting (02) Sept 11, 2017

After months of watching others create beautiful beach scenes, I decided to give it a try, and I'm hooked! I'm very please with how my first attempt came out, and I hope you like it, too!

I used all Liquitex Basics paint, except the white was a combination of Liquitex and Artist's Loft white.

These are the colors I used for the sand: raw sienna, gold and copper. For the water I used: light blue permanent, aqua, primary blue, ultramarine blue, prussian blue, and used titanium white to swipe.

Each color was one part paint and a quarter part Floetral with two to four drops of dimethicone/treadmill belt lubricant, slightly stirred in each color but not the white. And I did torch it a little at the end.
