Don here. Lynda got some bad news from the doctor yesterday. We often mention that Lynda is disabled, but have never mentioned exactly what her problem is. She has 'spinal stenosis' in her upper and lower back. Briefly, it's a thickening of the inside of the spine that pinches the nerves. 10 years ago she was warned that at some point she would need surgery to keep functioning. It looks like that time has come. She saw her specialist because her left leg and arm were going numb and now she's been referred to a neurosurgeon.

if you have soup stock and some vegetables you can make a meal no matter what happens. It is a definite plus to keep on hand and even better if you make it yourself.
