Believing they're in a creative rut, Brendon decides that he, Jason, and Melissa need to take a hiatus. While the kids are on break from working together on video projects, Brendon agrees to film Duane's band rehearsal and meets Cynthia, an older choreographer.

In 2020, Home Movies was made available to stream as a launch title on HBO Max - newly remastered to high definition. However, with the series now scheduled to depart the service (now known as just Max) on May 27, 2025 - and since other people have posted the entire series onto YouTube without getting into any copyright trouble due to its rights currently belonging to Scholastic - I have made it my duty to preserve the high definition restorations of one of my favorite Adult Swim shows here so they don’t become lost media.
