Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon video. In this video, I will be talking about another deleted scene from House of the Dragon's first season. This scene takes place during Aegon II Targaryen's coronation at the Dragonpit of King's Landing. As you all know, Rhaenys Targaryen, and her dragon, Meleys, escape during Aegon's coronation ceremony. In the original scene, Rhaenys and Meleys cause even more damage than what we saw in House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 9. According to this new information, hundreds or even thousands of more people die during Rhaenys and Meleys escape from the Dragonpit. Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon's VFX team ultimately decided to scale things down, because they didn't think this would be in Rhaenys' character. Let me know what you think down below.
