Overnighter at Box Hill Surrey | Van Life UK

Just a quick one-nighter today, quite spare of the moment but any opportunity to get away for a night or two is always good fun.

We were unfortunate that it rained almost as soon as we got there for about an hour so by the time it stopped and we went out for a walk it was all muddy and boggy. It's okay though, we have plenty of water and we're just going away for one day so we can wash the dogs and there's no dramas. If we'd been going off-grid for perhaps a few days i'd be more concerned about water usage lol.

It was a chilly night, we woke up to frost and plenty of condensation. Forgot the window vac though so just had to leave the condensation but luckily it warmed up and it all evaporated anyway. I've become such a grown up as I've gotten older, obsessing over water usage and condensation, not to mention the mud and getting dirty haha, how things change.

It was a lovely morning none the less, the frost and cold bite in the air made it feel really fresh and it was a lovely sunny morning. We did a 4 mile walk down and up a hill so the dogs were poop-a-looped by the end of it. I love staying in the van.
