The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are living in California after quitting royal duties last year and have welcomed their second child since Megxit. Meghan's makeup artist Daniel Martin said the pair are "loving life as a family of four". He told People magazine: "They've struck a rhythm as a foursome." Mr Martin recently did Meghan's makeup as she attended a New York gala. The makeup artist said the Sussexes, who left their children Archie and Lili in Montecito, "couldn't wait to get home". He added: "It's about finding that work–life balance now, which ties into Meghan lobbying for parental paid leave. "They're experiencing it themselves. "They know it affects everyone in the family." Mr Martin has known the Duchess for years and did her makeup for her royal wedding back in 2018. He also attended her extravagant New York baby shower in February 2019. Harry and Meghan quit royal duties in March 2020 for new lives of personal and financial freedom across the pond. They welcomed their daughter Lilibet Diana in June. The couple made their first joint appearance following Lili's arrival with a New York trip in September. They carried out a series of high–profile engagements while in the Big Apple. In November, they returned to New York to attend the Intrepid Museum's Salute to Freedom gala in New York. Former Suits star Meghan stunned in a red dress for the event honouring veterans. The Duchess also recently contacted US politicians to push for paid family leave. Back in August, royal biographer Omid Scobie said the pair were entering "the era of visibility". He told People: "They're a couple who do very well in those moments of human interaction. They need to be on the ground. "They say that the proof is in the pudding, and what we are about to see is that pudding."
