No rubber band is needed, safe protective style box braids by a kenyan youtuber.
In this video i show you two methods on how to grip your own box braids.I first do small braids with my hair then attatch the extensions, this is an alternative to doing the rubber band method and it is more protective. i use a rat tail comb to part my hair.
I used 7packs of long avvis braids.
