SAP B1 Tip: CTRL + TAB Function on Warehouse

Have you ever felt confused about determining which warehouse has available stock for an item while creating transactions such as a Sales Order, Purchase Order, A/P Invoice, or A/R Invoice? Usually, users need to manually check which warehouse has available inventory before processing a transaction.

Good news! SAP Business One provides a quick shortcut that allows you to instantly view the stock quantity of an item for each available warehouse directly within the transaction window.

Here are the steps you can follow:

Open a transaction, for example, a Purchase Order.
On the Contents tab, select the desired item, then click the Whse field.
Press Ctrl + Tab on your keyboard.
SAP Business One will display a list of warehouses together with the available stock quantity for each warehouse.
You can now easily check stock availability per warehouse, select the preferred warehouse, and click the Choose button.
