EL RENO, Okla. —
Authorities have released the names of the two people who died over the weekend when an EF3 tornado hit El Reno.
The victims have been identified as Bridget Brockwell, 47, and Timothy Solis, 54.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, an EF3 tornado touched down for 2.2 miles and about four minutes near Highway 81 and Interstate 40 in El Reno. The tornado, which was about 75 yards across at its widest point, destroyed multiple structures, including a hotel and mobile homes at the Skyview Mobile Home Park.
El Reno Mayor said at least 29 other people were injured. Thirteen of the injured people were taken to area hospitals in ambulances, and 16 others went in private vehicles.

Gov. Kevin Stitt surveyed the damage Monday. At one point during the tour, the governor picked up and looked at a framed picture in the rubble.

"You just can't imagine anyone being able to survive," Stitt said. "Our hearts and prayers go with those families of the two people that were lost."

President Donald Trump called Stitt when the governor was in El Reno. Trump told Stitt to tell the public, "Whatever you need in Oklahoma, we're here. Tell the Oklahomans that we're here to help them."
