this wasn't supposed to happen (scootering in Thailand)

Scootering from one city to another, you can usually choose between a fast journey on big highways or a slow one on small countryside roads.

Obviously, the small rural roads are more interesting and usually the better choice. But you do run the risk of perhaps getting more than you bargained for.

The question becomes how far you want to push it. Just how small do you want your small roads to be? And on this ride from Kamphaeng Phet to Tak City, had I pushed it too far?
MESSAGE FROM PLANET DOUG:
Thanks for checking out this video. I'm making videos about my life experiences, thoughts, and occasional travels. Whether I’m on the move or staying in one place for a bit, I tend to have a somewhat low-budget lifestyle, staying in simple guest houses and spending my time exploring on foot or sometimes on a scooter or bicycle.
