Pricing Electrical Work Properly - Don't let social media bully you!

How to price an electrical job properly and ignore people who pull prices out of their arse.

This is just my personal opinion and I do not claim to live in an ivory tower. I'm going to be the first to admit that I am not the best person to be explaining how to cost electrical work.

My personal belief is that there are too many small electrical companies which are bullied into producing cost based on what social media and forums dictate. This, in turn, drives these businesses to produce a work standard based on what the price of the job allows. This could not be more back-to-front. The job, ethics and quality should be of the utmost importance and the price should derive from the task at hand.

Do the job properly, to a great quality, safely and most importantly be proud of what you've accomplished. Don't go bankrupt in the process.
