Guy Deacon - Mission Accomplished

Retired army officer Guy Deacon has been driving from Freetown in Sierra Leone to Cape Town to raise awareness of Parkinson’s Disease. Now, after around 10,000 km, a dozen border crossings and several catastrophic mechanical breakdowns, the indomitable Colonel has reached his destination. In this final update he reflects with Rory Cellan-Jones on the experience - what he's learned, what he's achieved in spreading the word about a condition which is often taboo, and how he's coped with the challenges of his own Parkinson's along the way.
