Gigapod Floor Test

This is the latest test of our huge gigapod robot. You can see the size compared to the normal sized purple Vorpal Hexapod sitting on some boxes on the right. I finally got my 8.4v 13AH battery capable of outputting 50 amps. During tests like this the maximum draw I saw on the gigapod was 20 amps, in brief spikes, so I may be able to use a smaller battery to save weight. The servos are a bit slower than the ones used on the smaller robots so I will need to adjust some of the timing parameters in the program. But all in all, it looks like this thing is going to work!
