Nurse practitioner Corinne Huedepohl places second in HospitalNews.com 2020 Nursing Hero Awards

In 2017, Corinne Huedepohl, a nurse practitioner (NP) with the Tone Management Service for Children at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital became the first NP in her field across Canada to receive privileges to independently inject botulinum toxin, more commonly known as Botox, for children under anesthesia in an operating room.

Her expanded NP role helped her place second in Hospital News’ 2020 Nursing Hero Awards, which recognizes nurses across the country for going above and beyond for their patients, and in Corinne’s case, for her profession.
