Seafood at Granville Island | HOW TO Clean & Eat Spot Prawns

Always seem to be a day late and a dollar short with some of the videos. It's nearing the end of Spot Prawn season here in Vancouver BC and I'm hoping to share a segment of out trip to Granville Island where we got a chance to purchase and sample these wonderful ocean delights.

While on our way to seek out some quintessential fish and chips on an outing to Granville Island, we decided to purchase some Spot Prawns right at the dock. We were glad we did as we got to meet some amazing folks, Captain Steve and Taka from Organic Ocean who just returned with their haul of spot prawns from earlier in the morning. These were gigantic spot prawns! We got to enjoy this tasty seafood on the boat where we clean, peal, and eat the prawns. Just a warning, it does get a bit graphic in some parts.
