2nd Gen Tacoma Bumper Light Bar Install - ExtremeLED X6S Light Bar

A quick video to show the installation of the all-new ExtremeLED 30" dual color light bar. This bar fits perfectly in the 2nd Gen Tacoma grill and worked seamlessly with my DIY sPOD. The bar works really well and puts out a decent amount of light given its size. You also can't beat the lifetime warranty that ExtremeLED has with all their products. * Tips for future installers! *

1) Bore out the Rough Country brackets to fit the 14mm bolts they need to be bolted up to like I mentioned in the video.

2) Don't completely tighten the Rough Country brackets until the light bar is installed and the bolts for the bar are tight. You won't get a wrench in there otherwise.

3) Shave down the Rough Country brackets to work around the ExtremeLED wiring harness coming out of the bar.

4) Make sure that your bolts that go into the bar are short enough to be thoroughly tightened and that they don't bottom out in the bar as these ones did. I got these bolts with the Rough Country brackets and they needed to be cut down a bit.

Do all these ahead of time and you'll have a seamless install. (Thumbs up for the advice!)
