How could it get better than this? And to be a free place to camp at that! We spent a total of 9 days on the beautiful Port Lavaca shoreline and loved just about every minute of it. We did get hit with quite the storm which kept us inside for the better part of 3 days. We were eager to hit the road and see more of Northern Texas, so stay tuned as we make our way to White Sands National Park and the infamous Carlsbad Caverns!
